I HATE moving

So now that we've got most of everything moved, I'm staying at the new location, which is actually the old location...ok that's going to get confusing. We moved back in with my grandma and two cousins. Out here I get no reception on my cell phone, and DSL isn't available, at least not through Verizon. So, I'm stuck with dial-up, and since we don't have everything organized just yet, I'm not even going to bother getting on, because I'd have to get on in the kitchen or somewhere in that general location, and I'd have the chord running through people's way and what not, so it's a lot easier to only get on when I need to do something. That's why I'm writing this is WordPad, and I'll get online and put it on Blogger when I'm done.

Tonight hasn't been the greatest. The beginning of the day was pretty boring, I slept pretty late, then got up and went to my grandparents where I was going to eat dinner with them but my grandma cooked something I didn't like, so I settled for something else. I came home because I had to move stuff, then my mother and I got into an arguement blah blah I'm not going there. Anyways, everything's pretty settled now and I'm sitting on the couch, pretty mellowed out now. By the way, today's my best friend's birthday, so happy birthday to Alex Guzman!

Friday I didn't go to school because I woke up with a sore throat, and it being an odd day I wasn't about to push myself to get up and go to school being the slightest bit sick. Friday night Alex and I went to the Kickers game. It was a semi-final against Rochester Raging Rhinos (what a horrible name). Kickers won 3-1 (Rochester getting the 1 from an own goal off a nasty deflection). The Kickers winning was great by itself, but the atmosphere was awesome! There were more people there than on a regular season game, and they all got into more so than the regular season crowd. Kickers played Rochester earlier tonight in the second leg of the semi-final and tied 1-1. I listened to the last part of the game on an online broadcast I found somewhere, and it seemed like it was quite a game, with there being a few out of control moments. Cephas got a direct red sometime in the game. I really wish I could've watched it because it sounded like a lot of fun to watch. The game ended in a 1-1 draw, but kickers advance to the Final on a 4-2 aggregate. I forgot who won the other semi-final match between Seattle and Montreal. Unfortunately the winner of the Seattle/Montreal game will host. I would have absolutely loved to have the final held here in Richmond.

After the game Friday, Alex dropped me off at the theater and I watched Corpse Bride, which was a pretty good movie. Saturday I was supposed to have a game against Kickers but once again there was conflict between the VSLI schedule and the state cup dates (for Kickers, we've been knocked out already). So the game has been cancelled and is yet to be rescheduled. We went to Castaway's where Scott and Jon played, along with some guy who liked The Cure a lot. That was really fun, until I dropped Scott's guitar because the strap wasn't fully attatched. We sat outside and played the acoustic version of Taking Back Sunday's "Cute Without The E" as well as an improvised acoustic version of Alexisonfire's "Waterwings" (which with a little tweeking could be a really good acousic).

I'm actually in a hurry to get to school tomorrow. It's an even day so that means I have Computer Maintenance class first thing tomorrow, and that's the best class I've ever had, I'm pretty sure. I'm running out of things to type so I'm going to go connect and drop this off on my blog, as well as check my myspace. Not being able to check myspace every 10 seconds is getting to me, but I'll survive...maybe.

I'm fat

The title was a joke. I surprise myself by actually being slightly humorous tonight. I haven't been in the greatest of moods lately. I won't elaborate for the sake of thinking about it more.

Oh, B. B. King is performing on Jay Leno, I must go watch this...you have to love that guy. Funny man, great musician...

I missed almost the entire day of school today (yesterday to be technical). I decided I really didn't need to miss Geometry again so I went in at about 1:30. I really hate my odd days and it takes so much pushing myself to get up out of the bed and go. I can't express in words my hate for my odd days. I'm kicking myself now for failing those classes and putting myself with a bunch of sophomores.

Saturday I spent the day with my half-sister Moriah. We went to Commonwealth 20 and watched The Brothers Grimm, which was actually a pretty good movie. After the movie she was scheduled to go home but plans changed and she had to be home at 11, so we went to Blockbuster and got Van Helsing, which was another good movie. She ended up staying at my uncles, and of course I stayed too. We got up early sunday and ate breakfast, she went home, and so did I. I got my stuff ready for the game and off I went to Courthouse Park, to take on Richmond Kickers Central. Before the game coach told us that he had watched this team play Chesterfield the day before, and they were losing 5-1 at about halftime. Well, I'm not entirely sure where he got that because I talked to Cordell today and he told me they lost. Well, we lost too. I'm not sure of the score, I think it was 5-0, which would be the same score they put up against Chesterfield. Hopefully I'll be switched by this weekend, but I'm not sure because I'm having the hardest time getting in touch with the right people at Chesterfield United.

My mom is almost completely moved out. I, on the other hand, have yet to move any of my stuff. That's why my mom is staying at my grandma's and I'm still here. I didn't want to sleep there, on the couch, with none of my things, and have to get up like that in the morning. Hopefully I'll get to stay here a few more days, but my mom wants me to stay there tomorrow. I'm hating moving almost as much as I hate my odd day classes (I really, really can't stand those classes). There are several things that I hate about it, one of the biggest things being that I won't be able to get DSL out there. It wouldn't be so bad if I weren't used to it, but going back to dial-up after getting used to something this fast is not going to be easy at all. I don't even think the phone lines out there are going to allow me to get the best out of 56k. My cell phone can't pick up a signal out there either. The list of bad things about moving goes on and on forever. That's not going to make the school year any better at all. Getting my license will help some, but then I'll have to take stupid to school every day. I guess that won't bother me too bad if I can come home and go places and hang out with people.

Well, it's almost 1 so I really need to get some sleep. I havn't found a new background for this blog yet, but hopefully soon.

Good Mourning

I just finished up some custimizations to both blogs. I made this one a little more interesting, with the Coheed and Cambria background. I just hate how it doesn't fit, because it's a desktop background and it's too big, the 800x600 was too small. I also put in a binary background for my Computer Maintenance blog. I thought it fit appropriately.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. Today wasn't so great at all, hence I went home early. I missed Geometry for the second time in a row, having only been in the class once. I left early last time we had odd classes too. I absolutely hate my odd days, but there's only one more this week, then three next week.

As much as I'd like this to be an interesting entry, it's past 1am. So I'm going to grab something to drink or whatnot then hit the bed.

Alone again

I love wireless. I'm sitting downstairs, very very tired, but I'm hungry, and I need to clean my room and wash clothes. I think I'll skip the cleaning and washing, and stick with eating then going to bed.

I really, really need a girl. I sit around by myself all the time. Being alone absolutely blows. But that's something I'm not going to go hunting for, because that's not how it works.

Speaking of being alone all the time, my mom just called and said she's staying at Scott's. Whatever, I'm used to being my only company.

I got bored today and took some more pictures. I kept only one.

Goodbye State Cup

Well, this morning we lost to Williamsburg Wizards by a score that I don't remember, but it was bad. They weren't nearly as good as I thought they were going to be. These VCCL teams are disappointing me. So, that does it for us for the state cup. I may be playing with Chesterfield by next weekend, I just have to make a few calls.

School sucks, but that's nothing new. At least Monday will be a good day because, once again, my even days are my good days. Computer Maintenance (oh how I love that class), English, WHII, and ACIS.

My computer is already a massive musical library, but I can't decide if I want to put all of my CD's onto my computer. Anyone want to help me decide?

I'm joining a band with a couple of my friends who love music and are awesome people. This could be amazing.

Unearth is an amazing band and Zombie Autopilot is one of the greatest songs with the coolest guitar workings.

I need a girl...

I just felt like posting a quick update since I probably won't be home much today. I may post another later. I'm kind of getting attatched to blogger since we have to do it for class. It's second to myspace now.

School season

So schools finally here, and that means summer's finally over. My schedule officially sucks, except for the most amazing 2nd period I'm going to have, ever, except for Spanish I last year (I didn't like the class but the people in it made it so much fun). I have Computer Maintenance with Mr. Talaiver, who's one cool dude. One of the things we had to do in that class was actually to go to blogger.com and create a blog. Lucky for me I already had this account so I just had to create a new blog. You can check it out http://frashure2.blogspot.com

1st - Biology
2nd - Computer Maintenance
3rd - Spanish II
4th - English 11
5th - World History II
6th - Advanced Computer Information Systems
7th - Geometry
Let's go down the list: Biology sucks because it's nothing but sophomores. Shannon is in it so that's the best thing about that class, and the teacher seems to be pretty nice. Computer Maintenance is going to be so much fun, the teacher is a possible all-time favorite, and Tony should be in it if he can get switched back in it, and Tony always equals fun. There's also some more of my friends in that class. Spanish II, worst class; I'm guessing it's all sophomores because I don't know a single person in the class, not one. As for English, I have Mrs. Lee again, the same teacher I had in summer school for English 10. I should also mention Cordell is in that class, which could be an interesting mix. Katy Marlin is in that class with me, but she might not be there often, we'll see. Once again I have Mr. Carr for World History II, which is pretty cool, but it's nothing but sophomores once again. Lucky for me one of them is Katie Newton, so that's pretty cool. For ACIS, I have Mrs. Roberts again, so far my favorite teacher. There's only like 9 people in the class, about four of us being in CIS together last year. Lastly, Geometry...probably the second worst class because it's, once again, nothing but sophomores. Crystal is in that class, but other than that, nobody I know. I'm hating myself for failing those classes. I was hoping awesome Leah would be in at least one of my classes, or possibly my lunch block, but that didn't happen, so I hardly ever get time to talk to her, which is likely the main reason I hate my schedule . I have C lunch this year, which is horrible because there are very few of my friends in it, nobody I'd really like to sit with, but I'm pretty much stuck with it so I guess I'll have to make the best of it. With such a horrible schedule, the lunch block is the least of my complaints. Enough about school...
Soccer season has pretty much started. We had the Labor Day tournament last weekend; the Williamsburg Cup. We didn't do too well, losing all three matches; 8-2 to Rush Nike (the latest club to be added to the Virginia Club Champions League), 5-0 to Chesterfield United, and I don't remember the score for SOCA, but we lost pretty badly. I'm contemplating switching to play for Chesterfield. There are several advantages to that, not just being on a better team. Saturday we have our first (and likely our only) state cup match against Williamsburg Wizards Elite, another Champions League team, at Striker Park at 10am.
Tomorrow Alex and I are planning on hitting up Castaways for a 20 Below, and hopefully to hang out with a few friends. I'm hoping this year will get better...

US Soccer is a force to be reckoned with

So I'm sitting around bored, watching the MLS All-Star game vs. Fulham which is being led by the MLS All-Stars 2-1. Yeah, this weekend is going to pretty much blow but I recently discovered I have practice starting Monday. So now I'll have practice every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 5. I'm not sure how I'm going to get there Monday and Thursday, I get out early Thurday because it's the last day of summer school and we have exam, and I'm planning on leaving early Monday so I can rest before practice if I can get a ride, and I'm not planning on going to practice Tuesday because of two reason: I can't leave early if I leave early Monday because I've missed too many days, and also I'm going to the Nanci Raygun with Tony to see Darkest Hour.

Well, the game is over; MLS won 4-1 over English Premier Team Fulham FC. The US is doing extremely well lately. Columbus Crew beat Fulham 2-1; Chicago Fire lost to UEFA Champions League Finalists and Italian Serie A runners-up (and my favorite team) AC Milan 3-1 in a game completely dominated by the Americans; and DC United (my favorite MLS team) held English Preameir League Champions and UEFA Champions League semi-finalists Chelsea FC to a 2-1 score. Also, the USA is ranked #6 in FIFA's latest world rankings. This puts the US ahead of European powerhouses such as France and England. This is saying a lot for our nation. While I hate most of the people in America and a lot of other things in this country, I love our US National Team.

Time for me to go hit the shower, grab something to eat, and then head out to my grandparent's house and play some soccer and mess with my grandma's digital camera, maybe take some new pictures for my myspace.

Everybody's leaving

Ok, so my mom left today for South Carolina. She's staying there a few days, then heading off to Florida until the end of the week. I get the place to myself; sounds nice right? No, Alex left for Puerto Rico today, so I really have nobody to hang out with. I talked to Jordan and she's leaving tomorrow for Georgia. I'm all alone with nothing to do, I guess I'll have to chill at my grandparents all week. I got so bored today I cleaned my room, again. If anyone wants to do something give me a call.

Failte!

Ok so thanks to Tony I found this pretty cool blog thing and I think I may just actually use it. We'll see where it goes from here. I have school tomorrow and have to get up ridiculously early in the morning so I have to get going.
